Sessions for year 6 pupils and their parents/carers

The transition to secondary school is an exciting time for both you and your child but it can also feel a little bit daunting too.  Funpact aims to help ease this transition for both your child and you from primary school to secondary school.

The first session is run at the primary school for the primary school cohorts and looks at the difference between primary and secondary school, having the opportunity to interview an year 6 alumni about what it is actually like in year 7, a fun activity around being a friend as well as a chance to experience reading a school timetable and ‘going to different classes’.

The second session gives families the opportunity to meet the new year 7 cohort they will be part of in a fun and engaging evening event helping to build the new community at the secondary school before the summer holiday.

The third session is a interactive learning session focusing on independent travel, mobile phone ownership and handling homework.

The sessions are being run in West London in schools for their pupils and other venues which are open to all families.
